สำหรับยุคสมัยที่ว่าข้าวของแพง อะไรประหยัดได้ก็ต้องประหยัดกันไป ก็เหมือนกับเรื่องวีซ่านักเรียน หากใครเป็นแฟนกัน หรือเป็นสามีภรรยากัน ก็สามารถทำเรื่องติดตามกันได้ โดยที่ว่าจ่ายค่าเรียนคนเดียว แต่สามารถมาได้ 2 คน ซึ่งประหยัดและคุ้มกว่ากันเยอะ ส่วนค่าธรรมเนียมวีซ่าติดตามนั้นก็สนนราคาอยู่ที่ $405 เท่านั้นเองครับ เห็นมั้ยครับว่าถูก มา2 แต่จ่ายแค่คนเดียวจริงๆๆ
แต่ในปัจจุบันแล้ว เด็กนักเรียนไทย ส่วนใหญ่ ก็วีซ่าตัวนี้ เป็นส่วนลดสำหรับค่าเล่าเรียนกัน โดยการจับคู่กันเพื่อส่วนลดและประหยัดกันค่าเรียนนั้นเอง ถึงแม้จะไม่ได้เป็นแฟนกัน แต่เราก็ติดตามกันได้ โดยคนเรียนจะจ่ายค่าเรียนถูก คนติดตามจะจ่ายค่าเรียนแพง ประมาณว่า 30%-70% คือคนเรียนจ่ายค่าเรียนแค่ 30% แต่คนติดตามต้องจ่ายค่าเรียน70% เพราะคนติดตามไม่ต้องเรียน แถมทำงานได้เต็มเวลาแบบว่า NON STOP นั้นเอง แต่สัดส่วนการจ่ายเงินค่าเรียนนั้น ไม่มีสูตรตายตัวขึ้นอยู่กับการตกลงของแต่ละคู่เองครับผม
- จะเห็นได้ว่าวีซ่าติดตามนั้นเมื่อก่อน คือเป็นการติดตามของคู่แฟน หรือสามีภรรยาจริงๆๆ แต่ ณ.ปัจจุบันนั้น ดันกลายเป็นเรื่องผลประโยชน์ของการทำงาน และการประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายในส่วนเรื่องค่าเรียนกันครับ หากเพื่อนๆเห็นว่ามีคู่รักคนไทยไปจดทะเบียนสมรสที่ สถานฑูตไทยนั้น ก็อย่าเหมารวมกันว่า เป็นคู่รักกันจริงๆๆนะเธอ
- ตอนนี้วีซ่าติดตามนั้น ไม่จำกันเฉพาะชายกับหญิงนะครับ ชายกะชาย หรือหญิงกับหญิงก็ทำได้ครับ เห็นมั้ยว่าออสเตรเลีย เค้าเปิดกว้างสำหรับเรื่องแห่งความรักเสมอ
คราวนี้มาดูกันว่าวีซ่าติดตามนั้นมีข้อกำหนดและการทำอย่างไร ชื่อก็บอกแล้วว่าวีซ่าติดตาม การจะทำจะต้องมีเอกสารพิสูจน์ได้ว่า เป็นแฟนกัน หรือสามีภรรยากัน ในกรณีที่เป็นสามีภรรยา ก็เอาใบทะเบียนสมรถมายืนยังได้ แต่หากในกรณีที่เป็นแฟนกันนั้น เอกสารจะต้องเยอะหน่อย โดยจะต้องมีเอกสารที่พิสูจน์ความสัมพันธ์ได้ว่าอยู่ด้วยกันอย่างน้อย 1ปี ก็คือ เปิดบัญชีธนาคารด้วยกัน มีที่อยู่ที่เดียวกัน มีตั๋วเครื่องบินหรือใบจองโรงเรียนเวลาไปเที่ยวด้วยกัน หรือรูปถ่ายคู่ ครับ

Student Visa Definitions
- De facto partner
- A person is the de facto partner of another person (whether of the same sex or a different sex) if:
- they have a mutual commitment to a shared life to the exclusion of all others
- the relationship between them is genuine and continuing
- they live together or do not live separately and apart on a permanent basis and they are not related by family.
For an application for a Student visa the de facto relationship must have existed for at least 12 months immediately preceding the date of application.
- Dependent child
- The child or stepchild of yourself or your partner who has not turned 18 and is not married, engaged to be married or in a de facto relationship.
- Eligible family members
- Your partner and your partner’s dependent children.
- Fully funded student
- A student whose travel, tuition and living expenses are paid by one of the following:
- the Australian Government or an Australian state or territory government
- the government of a foreign country
- a provincial or state government of a foreign country (with the written support of the national government)
- a multilateral agency
Examples: United Nations, World Bank or Asian Development Bank or an organisation gazetted by the Minister.
- Spouse
- A person is the spouse of another person if the two people are in a marriage that is legally valid in Australia and:
- they have a mutual commitment to a shared life as husband and wife to the exclusion of all others
- the relationship between them is genuine and continuing
- they live together or do not live separately and apart on a permanent basis.
- Partner
- A partner is your spouse or de facto partner (including same-sex partners).
